CHARACTERS
01. Each member can create three characters. More characters must be purchased with points.
02. Each member can create one purebred character. Additional purebreds can be purchased.
03. Low and mid content wolfdogs are allowed, but only one per member.Any wolves mixed into your character must be a domesticated wolf. Wolfdogs do not come from wild wolves, but instead are wolves that live in captivity. A domestic dog would likely be killed by a wolf in the wild. When making your biography, keep in mind that no wild wolves are allowed. They must be captive! Wolfdogs on the site must be realistic mixes. Captive wolves are often bred with Alaskan Malamutes, Huskies, and German Shepherds to create wolfdogs.04. High content wolfdogs can be purchased with points, but pure wolves are forbidden.
05. Each character must have a "believable" history. Keep it reasonable you guys!
06. Characters can be unique, but don't go too overboard with the "perfectness" or "strangeness."
07. Absolutely no magic or elements. Keep it somewhat realistic.
08. No "super" characters allowed. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses that counteract.Life on the streets isn't all about the joy of freedom. It's a hostile world out there, and it's no different for the dogs. They have to learn to fend for themselves, but some things are out of their control. Dogs can't protect themselves against fleas, ticks, mites, internal parasites like heartworm, and illnesses like parvovirus, bordatella, distemper, and rabies. Dogs who live on the streets for long periods of time should be dirty more than they are clean. Dogs with long coats should have mats! Keep these things in mind!09. Puppies may only be born into the game and adopted as a character.
10. Created characters cannot be under one year of age.Small breeds typically live longer than large breeds.11. Characters may not include wolves, dingoes, coyotes, foxes, etc.Low and mid content wolfdogs and dingo mixes are acceptable, but should be rare and have a realistic history. The site is based off of the street dogs in major U.S. cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
ASSOCIATION
01. Members must choose for their characters to be domestic, stray, or feral.Domestic dogs currently live with their human npcs. These dogs are usually up to date on their vaccines so they are less likely to get sick from things like parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies. They may also be protected from parasites such as heartworm, fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes.02. A dog's association can be changed at any time via roleplay and plotting.
Stray dogs may or may not be protected from illnesses and parasites like domestic dogs - this depends on how long they've been a stray and if they've been picked up by Animal Control. Shots for adult dogs are annual so they are protected for up to a year. Preventatives for fleas, ticks, and internal parasites only last up to a month. Strays who have been on their own for a long period of time are likely to be dirty, and susceptible to heartworm, distemper, bordatella, fleas, ticks, mites, mange, and other conditions.
Feral dogs have it the hardest. They are not vaccinated, and not covered for fleas, ticks, and internal parasites. They are very likely to get heartworm, fleas, ticks, mites, mange, and other conditions. The life span of feral dogs is less than stray or domestic dogs.

07. Liquid time is allowed, but only reply to as many topics as you can keep up with.
08. Our "free roam" concept implies that any dog can roleplay on any territory.
PACKS
01. Packs are loosely structured and should change frequently.
02. Only normal ranks are allowed (alpha, beta, subordinates, and omega).
03. Packs do not claim entire boards as their territories.Packs should change frequently, with members coming and going. The same goes for their territory. Packs can claim an area, but that area can still be threatened by other dogs in the territory. Therefore, packs should move around sometimes.
On the pack threads, the pack leader will be able to specify a location where their pack hangs out more frequently. Sometimes this location is a "sub-territory." Sub-territories are locations made up by the members of the forum and are located within a pre-existing territory. For example, one pack might hang out under a very large hallow tree somewhere in Hyde Park. They don't necessarily own the entire park, but only a portion of it.
By doing this, we allow our members to use their imaginations as opposed to limit them to only the areas we've provided. If you want to live in a huge cave den somewhere in the country, or on an old cemetery near the suburbs, you can! Pack leaders will be responsible for choosing the "official hangout" spot for their pack and will need to include it on the pack's main thread (a small description wouldn't hurt).
THEFT
01. We do not tolerate theft of any kind.
02. Threads are copyrighted to their respective authors and may not be copied or altered. This also goes for characters, their profiles, and any other content submitted on this forum. Using ideas that belong to someone other than yourself is forbidden.03. Stealing from the forum will result in severe consequences.
