[cs=2][classy=title]appearance[/classy] Kota has a muscular, massive, powerful body. Her head is broad with a rounded forehead. Her muzzle is well-developed with teeth that meet in a scissors bite. Her eyes are medium sized and dark with an almond-shape.Her ears are triangular, carried forward. Kota's tail is customarily docked, But at the second vertebrae instead of the first making her tail slightly longer than the standard Rottweiler. Her chest is broad and deep. with a coat that is short, hard and thick. It is black with rust to mahogany markings on her cheeks and muzzle, paws and legs. [classy=title]personality[/classy]Extremely human aggressive, Kota lives the life of a full fledged street dog, wondering the busy city streets, avoiding traffic, curious humans and scavenging for food day in and day out, although she once had an owner she prefers the exciting city streets over a pillow bed in front of a humans fireplace. While living the life of a street dog, she hopes to find her mother and siblings again someday. At first glance you may find her very intimidating, for her size is bigger than the standard Rottweiler. And she has an attitude to match. She is slightly dog aggressive as well. For in her younger days she was taunted and teased by her kennel mates when she was in the pound. [classy=title]biography[/classy]Kota was born as a stray, along with two brothers and a sister. she was about 6 months old when animal control picked her up along with her mother and siblings. Grabbing her by the scruff she let out a yelp as a man tossed her into the back of a truck, her paws sliding against the metal bottom. She shook with fear as the truck took her across a narrow bridge into the driveway of an old building lined with rusted kennels. Her ears perked as she heard the cries and the barking of other canines, and watched as the man exited his beat up truck and began to walk towards her.She glanced back at her mother and siblings and let out a whine. He looped her around the neck with a rope, and led her to an empty kennel, tapping her rear with his foot as she stepped down into the concreate enclosure and slamming the gate closed. That was the last time she saw her mother. On either side of her were other kennels, One contained a Pitbull and his kennel-mate which was a medium-sized mutt. The other kennel contained a German Shepherd, both inspected her, and taunted her. The pound she was taken to was one of the few left in the area that euthanized the dogs if they weren't adopted within a certain amount of time. But luckily for Kota one of the workers there, favored her, and kept her from being euthanized. She was at the pound until she was about a year old. One day a young lady who went by the name of Kasey came through on one of her shifts and did her usual routine, fed all the dogs, cleaned their kennels, gave them fresh water, and made sure all the gates were secure. At the end of the night she took Kota out of her kennel and took her home, because the next morning she was scheduled to be euthanized. From that point on she was living like a normal dog. When Kota reached the age of 3 she was full-grown, and Kasey decided she was too big to keep in her small one-bedroom ranch home. Within a month of her third birthday Kota was moved from her comfy bed in the house to living on a thick towing chain attached to a wooden dog house in the back of the ranch. After 4 months of living on a chain Kota's human began partying more since she had quit her job at the dog pound. And more partying led to less time for her. Kasey eventually stopped feeding her all together. The longest Kota went without food or fresh water was about a week. Each day she would pull and pull at her chain wanting so badly just to be free. She was starving, and getting weaker by the day. After about a year of being on a chain, Kota finally managed to escape and now lives as a full fledged street dog, learning the tactics she will need to survive. |
