• EnviousIf she doesn't get something she wants, whether it be an item, a male, or even a toy, Evelyn can become extremely jealous and hateful towards whoever does have it. Fairly often Evelyn will be a shade of green even over the simplistic things!
• Soft heartedEvelyn is a very sweet dog with a kind heart, however, she even takes pity on enemies. In a sense it could be called naive, but she knows what to believe in and what not too. Often she will put herself in danger to keep other dogs safe— even humans.
• PlayfulAt home Evelyn enjoys the luxury of an inside nanny dog, helping watch the growing children while lounging on her fluffy bed. Out in the streets though, she's Thirteen, a rough and tumble mutt that enjoys romping around and getting herself into trouble! She has quite the imagination as well and her energy is sometimes overwhelming!
• LazyThe price of being a pampered pooch is laziness! When she's not bustling full of energy Evelyn is usually laid back— so much so that sometimes she doesn't even want to get up and do anything. She prefers to get things done for her instead of doing them.
• LoyalYour deepest secrets can be shared comfortable in the ear of Evelyn who wouldn't dare leak out any whispered words. If you ask her to do a job—so long as you're a trusted friend— you can count on her to not give up until the task is completed; that is, if she isn't being a lazy lump at the time.
• PatienceThis trait is something you need when filling the role of a nanny dog! Belittling words, nipping, pulling ears— nothing phases Evelyn! Patience is also a virtue needed when watching birds.

Like her father Evelyn posses the German Shepherd 'look', but only in her face and sloped back. The mix from her mother's genes seems more prominent in her features, like the curled tail. Evelyn remains smaller then most German Shepherds and lighter in weight. Her lightweight and sturdy legs give her stability to move about quickly and change course on a whim. The fluffy black pelt mottled by brown adds to her mixed qualities, perhaps given to her by a Collie. She's slim, curvy, and very feminine looking, but her thick bones allows Evelyn to hold her own against bigger enemies. Those compact paws—comparable to a cat— adds to her dexterity and nimbleness.

Evelyn was born into a family owned farm amongst three other female siblings. The family, who were unable to care for four more additions, put up an add in the city in hopes that people would be interested in the fluffy mutts. In no time the puppies were weaned and whisked away to their new families. Evelyn was adopted by a newly wed couple. Unfortunately, the farmers had made a false promise that Evelyn would not grow up to be a big dog and perhaps just a bit bigger then a beagle. As Evelyn grew and grew though the newly weds decided it was best to pass the dog on and replace her with a smaller one. The woman had a younger brother who wanted a "cool dog" that could hang around parties. At the ripe age of one year Evelyn was settled into the brother's home and in no time was a lively member of his many parties. One party in particular ended up very badly. A group of party crashes, angry at her owner, had pushed their way in the house. With tempers raging everywhere Evelyn felt her own anger flaring, especially when a guy shoved her owner. Without thinking Evelyn lunged at the offended but only managed to scrape his arm and tear his sleeve. The authorities were contacted quickly about a wild dog running rampage. Before the cops came though, several males had ganged up on young Evelyn and kicked her as hard as they could, but gave up when she wasn't provoked anymore.
Luckily they cops saw his faulty exaggeration, but unfortunately still took Evelyn to the pound. Although she could be collected by her previous owner he never came. After a week of waiting, going crazy in the small cage, Evelyn was adopted by another couple. These two were not newly weds and even had two twin girls at home with a boy on the way! The home was a perfect size for Evelyn and the backyard was huge! It didn't take her long to adjust into the new home and her role as a nanny dog. Since the twins were only two at that point, Evelyn easily dealt with the fur pulling, screaming, and crying. Even though she remained weary of human males she found it easy to cope with the laid back husband. Not long afterwards the baby boy was born and Evelyn happily accepted him into the family as well. After a couple of years—she was about three at that point— she became restless inside the yard. She wanted to see an expanded horizon and meet new dogs rather then the yappy Chihuahua mutt next door. Every so often Evelyn would find her way outside the backyard and casually roam the streets of her neighborhood, even taking up the alias of Thirteen when she met new dogs. Though her adventures outside are fun, Evelyn would always prefer the comfort of living indoors with a family.
