Outgoing • Active • Confident • Friendly • Loyal • Courageous Overview: Max is the prodigy of a champion show dog, an AKC and UKC registered Shetland Sheepdog from one of the finest breeders in the United States. His owners paid thousands of dollars just to reserve him for themselves! Max lives a wealthy lifestyle in an enormous home. He was trained by one of the best trainers in the country and is pampered daily by the house servants. He has access to the entire estate, but is forbidden to leave the massive property... Nonetheless, Maxwell is highly intelligent and has various exit points all across the estate. Somehow he manages to outsmart the servants and his materialistic owners, and often finds adventure beyond the walls of the property.

Silly • Outgoing • Secretive • Too Trusting • Honest • Loyal Nyla was adopted from the local animal shelter when she was twelve weeks old. She and her siblings, a long with their mother, were rescued from an alleged dog fighter. The man was supposedly breeding pit bulls for profit, and using the money to fund underground dog fighting. Nyla and her siblings were lucky. They were too young to know what kind of life their mother had had, and were fortunate enough to be raised in decent homes with caring humans. Nyla loves her people more than anything. They have taught her to be a good canine citizen, and provide an active, loving lifestyle for her. But deep down she has a desire to see what else the city has to offer...

Cunning • Clever • Blunt • Tactical • Mischievous • Frisky Franky is a laid back dog who enjoys spending time in his own backyard on a nice day. Franky can be rather mischievous and uses his cleverness to trick others. He is blatant and too honest for his own good. Franky is not much of a fighter, but instead uses wit to outsmart his opponents. He is a loner who uses others to his advantage, and never lets his emotions get in the way. Many dogs seek Franky's advice when caught in a tough spot, which is how he gained his reputation on the street. He's popular, but not in the sense that everyone likes him. He tends to make a lot of enemies... But he's not worried about them. A dog like Franky has friends in low places... Friends who provide protection in return for his natural talent as a conspirator.

Goofy • Kind • Caring • Considerate • Simple • Unintelligent Copper isn't the brightest dog. He's simple, forgetful, and has a short attention span. He's also friendly and very caring, even towards strangers. Whether he consciously fails to notice, or does it intentionally, he always seems to see only the good in others. Copper hates to be alone, and is quick to follow new friends. He can never understand why dogs fight, and takes a simple approach to life. He just wants everyone to get a long!

Fast • Observant • Generous • Edgy • Driven • Hopeful Fenway is a little cautious of new surroundings at first. He's easy to get a long with, is rather lively, and approaches life with an optimistic outlook. Fen was born in the wild and has always known the woods to be his home, but he has often wondered what the city was like on the inside... The closest he's ever been is to the Nualin River where he often hangs out and daydreams about the skyscrapers and what it would be like to stand among them. He's never actually crossed the bridge to the city because the humans make him uncomfortable. Despite his desire to see the city, Fen has no complaints about his life. He enjoys the open fields and the thick woodlands. One of his favorite pastimes is simply to run and feel the wind in his face.

She tends to avoid confrontation at all costs, and prefers to handle things in a more fair, diplomatic manner. Lena is very "motherly" and always find herself helping others. Dominant • Wise • Fair • Loyal • Protective • Good Dominic is a true leader, and would prove a worthy alpha. He is fair, loyal, and possesses a wisdom like no other. He is calm, collected, and firm in his beliefs. He is not a liar, but is not entirely open with every little detail of his life. He is often silent, but when he speaks, others listen.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,379,true] | [atrb=background,http://i44.tinypic.com/ayksig.png] OOC Name: Loser, but I will probably go by Courage from now on - I'm more attached to his character and name - but I have, and always will answer to Loser, and since I joined as her first, that's what you probably know me as. SO IN SHORT, LOSERAGE.
Your Characters: While they have not been accepted as of yet, I play both Courage the Beauceron x Australian Koolie and Loser the Husky x Canaan Dog. These are my two planned characters who should be posted soon - Santino will be my first, and the only free, purebred dog I will have, if I am chosen for him. He will also be my third - and final - character, until I've posted enough to get more slots. So, I've definitely made room for him.
Adoptive Character: Santino! ♥ Because I love his personality, and ohmygod Bull Terriers are probably one of my favorite breeds (even though my friend thinks they have hideous roman noses, I think they are the cutest things to ever walk the green earth), and everything about him is just awesome. His name, personality, brindle coat, table colors - just oh gosh he's just a kickass dog and I can't wait to write his history and start posting with him. Also - I'm thinking of making him a rather 'smart' gangsta, instead of some kind of 'dimwitted violent street thug'. Just lettin' you know what I'm gettin' at here, since most people think because he's tough, he's probably also gonna be stupid. But no, Tino likes big words. :'D
Additional Text: Life is such a fucking roller coaster then it drops, but what should I scream for? This is my theme park! - Obviously, there is a curse word in it, and if you're a little nervous about putting that in the table, feel free to change it to 'freaking' or something - or remove it completely, I imagine the rhythm of the song when people read it will still be there.
Roleplay Sample: His scarred countenance seemed to hold an expression of utter indifference as the much larger dog approached him - his gait was wide, and he carried his head and tail high in a dominant position. Must be new, the six year old dog considered, letting out a snicker under his breath. Obviously, this dog thought he was tough shit, some kind of head of the pack; someone who commanded - nay, was obligated to - dominance the moment he set foot in a territory. This son of a bitch thought he was some kind of badass. That role, as a matter of fact, was taken, and it was anyone's guess who had claimed that title - and like an champion, he was going to defend it.
The first rule is to never, ever approach another dog, you will let them come to you - and that was this dogs first, but not only mistake. With a rather pompous expression, he strode toward the much older, and rather diminutive brindle bull terrier who sat before him, Hello there, runt. I'm not entirely sure what you're doing here - are you playing hide and seek? His words were said with a sneer, and it was obvious he was mocking the dog's size by calling him a puppy - while, as a matter of fact, Santino was far more the elder of this dog. "Oh, I'm sorry," he muttered with a fake apologetic tone, "But, no, I wasn't playing a game - I was sitting here waiting for some idiot to come along and try to mess with me," a devious smirk spread across his lips, "looks like you're right on time, buddy".
The other canine was rather surprised by his comeback, and it was obvious he had expected the other dog to simply turn tail and run - the terrier was no match for a dog of his stature. But, that was another of the many mistakes this dog seemed to make - he underestimated the devil because of his size. The shepherd's jaw seemed to slack for a moment, and the first syllable of a word began to form on his lips - but he was cut short by Santino, "You must not have heard of me? Odd. Were your parents stupid? Ah, well, that wasn't a question worth asking - they had you, and let you live, so I think that question answers itself. Now, how about you do me a favor and get the hell out of here before I correct the mistake your parents made".
The shepherd's dominant stance seemed to wither before Tino's very eyes - his tail drooped, and there was even a bit of fear in his eyes. Obviously, something the terrier said hat hit a nerve, but this dog was too afraid to lash out. That was his last and final mistake as a dominant dog - you never back down from a fight, and you never, ever look afraid. Raising to his feet, but not taking so much as a step, Santino puffed out his chest, letting a rumble form deep within the chasm of his chest, before working its way up his throat, until it reached the outside world in a guttural snarl. This sent the other dog reeling back, turning around to put a safe distance between him and this rogue; but not without looking over his shoulder to see if the other dog was following him.
"Do not so much as look at me," the bull terrier spit the words as if they burned his tongue, perhaps from the very venom that laced them, like every word, as they fell from his lips, "Or you won't have eyes to see with". It was not often a dog of the streets made good on their word - but that was not the case for Santino; at least, not in this situation. Despite his reputation as a swindler, there was one thing the old canine never lied about - and that was an obligation to violence. This shepherd would figure that out soon enough, if he didn't pick up the pace.
Notes: I hope this tryout was alright - and also, I wanted to ask if he, or any of the other dogs (though I won't be needing them) have sets? Or if some/most are 'one image' only characters? Just in case we want to make other tables or graphics for them without using the same image over and over again or finding something that's close enough.
