Medieval fantasy, within the scope that war and battle are dirty, cruel, and harsh. Aranduin is not a place of tea parties and pristine palaces all the time. Please understand the setting, the realities of the place are sometimes austere, and can be just flat out hardship. This is a place for warriors, clerics, healers and paladins. It is not a land of genteel civility.
Most people here are Elvin, or Fae, so expect that atmosphere. We are not, as a rule, human IC, though there are human refugees among us. The culture here will steer far from farming, bar brawls and rampant breeding. We embrace our Elvin and Fae IC heritage, and the foods, people, attitudes and architecture will be heavily influenced by it.
